Christina L. Scott is an organization development advisor, executive leadership coach, and Founder and Chief Catalyst of Catalyzing Change, a leadership coaching and organization development consulting firm. With over 15 years of experience leading complex, large-scale change initiatives across federal government, nonprofit, education, and private sectors, she partners with senior leaders and executive teams to design people-centered strategies that produce measurable, sustainable results. She has led initiatives impacting 5,000+ participants, managed multi-million dollar budgets for state and federal programs, and delivered engagements spanning organizational assessment, culture transformation, change management, strategic planning, leadership development, and board governance. Her coaching practice has served leaders across nonprofits, higher education, and the U.S. Department of State, anchored in a fundamental belief: shifting systems requires shifting the leaders within them. Outside of client work, Christina can usually be found in her garden, which she credits with teaching her more about patience and timing than any change model has.

t the heart of my work is the desire to create spaces where people can show up and bring their best selves. Organizations either make that possible or make it harder, and my work lives in that gap. As a Black woman, I carry a particular heart for people whose voices have been quieted inside systems that were not built with them in mind. Much of what I do is create the conditions for those voices to be heard, and then acted on, so people can stand in their full truth and power.

I started as a classroom teacher and have since worked across government, nonprofit, and mission-driven organizations. What holds true in every sector is that the wisdom is already in the system. My job is to surface it, then connect it to the tools, processes, and data that turn intention into something an organization can act on. I measure my work by what remains possible when I leave. When a team carries the change forward without me in the room, we have built something that will last.
